It looks like things will be a lot different when X Factor returns next fall for the 2nd season. I know everyone is happy that Nicole Scherzinger won't be returning after she saved Marcus Canty over little Rachel last season (I still don't think that was her fault). But why did Paula Abdul and host Steve Jones get the boot? Well according to NYDailyNews, Simon was upset at the show's ratings and suggested that anything below 20 million views for "The X Factor" would be a disappointment.

"The X Factor" started and ended with about 12.5 million weekly viewers, falling well below "American Idol." so I'm sure the new judges will be celebrities that can rake in the ratings. Rumor has it that Mariah Carey has already been in talks with Simon Cowell. Who do you think should replace the host, Paula and Nicole?

Fight Breaks Out On Set Of Basketball Wives Miami!

A day of filming at a racetrack in Hallandale, FL ended when a fight broke out between Jennifer Williams and Evelyn Lozada's assistant. According to TMZ, the girls were all in a VIP suite at the Gulf Stream Race Track last Saturday when Nai Crooks -- who is Evelyn's assistant but used to work for Jennifer as well -- called out Jennifer ... who the other girls feel has become "too big for britches."

According to sources, the two got face-to-face and Nai pushed Williams in the face to get her away. In the police report, Williams described it as being "intentional struck by Crooks with an open hand to the left side of her face."

Williams told police that security from the production company then stepped in to intervene. Sources say that's true ... but that security also grabbed Lozada to keep her from jumping in after Williams.

In the report, the officer states he saw no injuries on Williams and told her she could file a misdemeanor complaint with the state attorney’s office if she wanted to pursue the matter further.

The police report also states Williams believes the entire incident was captured on video.

A manager for Atlanta area rapper, Shawty Lo has confirmed that the D4L/G-Unit artist was hospitalized on Wednesday for complications with Diabetes...

"We appreciate the outpouring of concern and prayers. Shawty Lo was hospitalized yesterday," his manager Johnnie Cabbell said. "He suffers from Diabetes and had to seek immediate medical attention, although he is now resting and doing well, He will be able to fulfill his scheduled upcoming performances and appearances."

Shawty Lo was on tour and although touring can get hectic, like Rick Ross, he needs to eat well and take better care of himself. Get well soon!

Floyd Mayweather Jr. Sentenced To 90 Days In Jail For Beating Up His Baby Momma!

Smh. That's all you get for domestic violence now and days?...

A judge has just sentenced Floyd Mayweather Jr. to 6 months in jail, 3 months of the sentence has been suspended and he will get credit for the 3 days he already served back in September 2010 for beating up his ex girlfriend, in front of their children...

According to TMZ,

the boxer was arrested in September 2010 -- after his ex-girlfriend accused him of striking her "multiple times in the head with his fist" and then threatening to kill her.

Floyd struck a plea deal with prosecutors in the case -- in which he pled guilty to misdemeanor domestic violence ... in exchange for getting a pass on the felony battery charge.

Floyd also pled no contest to two misdemeanor harassment charges -- after allegedly threatening to beat his kids too during the incident.

The judge was especially pissed that Mayweather struck his baby mama in front of their kids.

The judge also ordered Mayweather to complete 100 hours of community service and a 12-month domestic violence program. He was fined $2,500 ... which to Floyd is like a poker hand.

He has to turn himself in on January 6, to begin serving his sentence.

Vanessa's own former step father (married to her mother from 1990 to 2003) has come forward to say she's nothing but a Gold Digger just like her momma...

TMZ spoke with Stephen Laine — an inventory manager for a food company who was married to Vanessa’s mother from 1990 to 2003 … and helped raise Vanessa from a child into adulthood.

Laine tells us, “Her mother taught her well to wait for the ten-year mark [before divorcing].”

He explains, “In California … it’s considered a long term marriage and then she gets paid for life or until she remarries … just like her mother is doing to me.”

Laine continues, “I have to pay her mom $1,800 every month and clearly they don’t need it.”

Sources close to Vanessa tell us … Kobe’s soon-to-be ex-mother-in-law is currently living in one of the BBaller’s mansions … and we’re told Vanessa is very good to her.

Laine gripes, “I have a six-year-old daughter and that money could be used toward her college fund or something … you’d think she’d care … but no, she’s spiteful.”

Vanessa Bryant filed for divorce yesterday afternoon (Friday) citing "irreconcilable differences." According to TMZ and a source, Vanessa (who stuck by Kobe after he was charged with sexually assaulting a Colorado woman in 2003) decided to end the marriage because she believes Kobe has been unfaithful... again.

Vanessa is asking for joint custody of their 2 daughters, 8-year-old Natalia and 5-year-old Gianna, visitation rights for Kobe and spousal support. The couple have NO PRENUP, so 29-year-old Vanessa is entitled to half of the empire Kobe has built over the last decade.

Smh. This could get ugly.

Waka Flocka Affiliate Slim Dunkin Dead!

Rapper, Slim Dunkin, real name Mario Hamilton, was fatally shot in the chest around 5:30 p.m. after getting into an argument with another individual at an Atlanta studio. He was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

At this time, police have not been able to identify the shooter or recover the handgun because 13 to 20 people were in the small office-type building at the time of the shooting.

Boxing legend Muhammad Ali has been hospitalized after slipping out of consciousness at his Phoenix-area home. He was secretly rushed to the hospital on November 19th and according to RadarOnline, the champ is "nearing the final round in his three decade bout with crippling Parkinson's disease."

Paramedics and police both confirmed that a 911 call was placed from his wife Yolonda's home around 6:30 pm.

Yesterday, Lil Boosie was sentenced to 8 years in prison after pleading guilty to conspiring to smuggle codeine, marijuana and ecstasy into Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola and Dixon Correctional Institute in Jackson, LA on three separate occasions.

Now, Boosie's lawyer is saying that the rapper is happy with the resolution because he is confident officials will allow him to participate in a drug rehab program so he can beat his addiction to codeine and other drugs.

Boosie -- who's also facing 1st degree murder charges in an unrelated case, has released a statement to TMZ saying,

"Don’t worry about me I am getting help with my drug addiction and I am accepting full responsibility for the choice I made."

Boosie adds, "I am going to fight the false murder charge till the end. Love you all."

Usher's Ex Wife Tameka Wants His Custody Revoked For Non Payment

Usher's ex-wife, Tameka Foster wants to take away his kids because he owes her more than $34,000, canceled her Saks credit card and broke other agreements stated in their divorce decree. According to TMZ, she's asking a judge to strip Usher of joint physical custody of their children ASAP...

Tameka claims Usher has repeatedly FAILED to obtain her permission to travel outside the state with the kids ... which he's legally obligated to do.

But there's more ... a lot more.

Tameka also claims Usher is required and has failed to:
-- get her approval before hiring nannies
-- give her first shot to watch the kids when he's away for more than 8 hours
-- allow her to take the kids for 2-weeks in the summer of 2011
-- let her have custody of the kids during Christmas break 2010

Tameka also claims Usher closed her Saks 5th Avenue credit card -- which he specifically said he wouldn't do -- and now she can no longer take advantage of the "special benefits" the card offers.

According to the docs, Usher also promised to pay $5k per month so Tameka could hire her own nanny for the kids -- but he hasn't paid in months, and now owes $34,000 worth of payments.

Tameka also claims there has been a "substantial change in [Usher's] income" since they got divorced -- and because of his success, she should get even more money for child support.

A hearing on the matter is scheduled for Wednesday. Stay tuned ...

Viewers will get a behind-the-scenes look at the most private moments of the Grammy-winning artist as he is reunited with his wife, Tameka (a.k.a Tiny), and his children following a 12 month prison sentence that was completed several months ago.

The new series follows the “King of the South” at his most vulnerable, as T.I. re-acclimates back into his life as a father, husband, son, musician, apparel magnate, businessman, actor and best-selling author (Power & Beauty).

During filming of a music video, the audience will catch a tender moment as T.I. teaches his son the importance of education and doing his school work. For the first time, fans will get to know T.I.’s children and see their reactions as they realize their father is a member of Hip Hop royalty. T.I. even begins to instruct his eldest son, Domani on the secrets to putting on a great concert performance and allows Domani (aka T-Money) show off his skills in front of a crowd of 3,000 at the Scream Tour.

“Tameka and I have a strong, loving family,” said T.I. “In this family documentary, you will see the challenges of raising children while balancing a career. It’s like a lot of families, only our home is in the spotlight.”

Viewers will also catch a glimpse into the very loving and always fascinating relationship between T.I. and his wife Tameka, who has faithfully stood by T.I.’s side through his highs and lows and who herself was a former member of the ’90s Grammy-winning pop group Xscape. The mother of two of T.I.’s children, along with her own fifteen-year-old daughter, Tameka was forced to hold down the fort while T.I. was behind bars. When BET picked up The Game for their 4th season, fans (including myself) were excited and couldn't wait to finally watch new episodes of the show. But, just like you, I couldn't help but notice there was a new "Brit Brat" the adorable little girl that played Jason Pitt's daughter had been replaced by a much older actress.

CottenKandi.com had the opportunity to interview the young actress, find out why she was replaced, how she found out and what she's up to now...

CK: How do you feel about the new installment of television show, ‘The Game’ and not being asked back to reprise your role as Brittany Pitts?

Erica: I am still a fan of the show. I was glad to be on for three seasons, but I was disappointed when I found out I was not being asked back.

CK: Do you know why you weren’t asked back to be a part of the show? Did the producers tell you why, if so, please elaborate.

Erica: We were told after they started the new season. The producers said that they wanted to take Britt Brat’s character in a more adult direction.

CK: How did you find out that you had been replaced?

Erica: The show was on hiatus for almost two years until BET picked it up. When we heard that it was picked up, we were very excited. But we didn’t hear anything so my manager called the producers and they said that my part was recast with an older actress.

Queen Latifah Is Coming Back To Day Time Television!

Queen Latifah is making a come back to the small screen and picking up where Oprah left off as the "Queen" of day time television. With the help of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, she will once again be the host of her very own talk show.

Will and Jada's Overbrook Entertainment are partnering with Queen Latifah's Flava Unit Entertainment and Sony Pictures Television to produce the new syndicated daytime talk show.

The show is said to air sometime in 2013.
