50 Cent Celebrates Family Day In New Jersey

He put on a Mini Concert for the kids Saturday evening at Six Flags Great Adventure amusement park in New Jersey. 50 organized a "Family Day" weekend, with events taking place both in New Jersey and in his home town in New York. But on Friday, his charity, the G-Unity Foundation, announced that they couldn't obtain a permit from the city so the New York Concert could not go on. He was still able to bus a number of families from Queens down to New Jersey to enjoy a day at the park and a G-Unit performance.

Anton Jamar Josey told police that he killed his ex girlfriend because he found out that she gave him HIV (I cant even be mad at him). Yeah, we all know killing someone is wrong but, so is spreading HIV.

Anton kidnapped his Ex, Dominque Duval from her job in Fort Lauderdale armed with a gun, Police caught up with them at a gas station, pulling his car over for speeding.

"When the vehicle came to a stop, however, a female exited the passenger side of the vehicle, ran back towards the detectives' direction. She was apparently holding her neck, had some type of injury. The detectives obviously approached the vehicle. The driver also exited, and at some point, made a statement as to shooting the victim."- Hollywood Police Lieutenant Manny Marino

She died at the hospital.

DJ AM, Also known as Adam Goldstein and Ex Boyfriend to Nicole Richie, was found dead in a apartment in New York on the 7Th floor. Friends started to become worried when they had not heard from him in days. When police went to the apartment they broke down the door and discovered his body. You may remember him from a plane crash he survived a couple years ago along side Travis Barker.

Police sources told Access Hollywood that Goldstein is believed to have died of a drug overdose. DJ AM was 36 years old.

23 Fans Arrested At AMW Tour Last Night

At the New York stop of the America's Most Wanted Tour last night, 23 fans, including teenagers and adults were arrested on criminal charges including marijuana possession, assault on security, trespassing and unlawful alcohol possession.

Including a 16-year-old from Cheektowaga, charged with trespassing for allegedly jumping a fence to get into the concert venue, 9 people busted on marijuana charges, a ten year-old (WTF, Where were his parents) was busted on possession of alcohol, a 23 year-old charged with hitting a female fan and injuring a security guard, a 26 year-old arrested for disorderly conduct and swearing in public and other arrests including criminal mischief and destruction of property.

Despite all these arrests, the concert went on. But it makes me think twice about going when it hits Bham.

Queen Latifah Talks About Weight Loss & American Idol

She has been asked to be a guest judge on American Idol but if she accepts she is not trying to be the next Paula,

"I don't know if I'll come on the show or not, but it would be an honor."

Queen Latifah is still considering the opportunity,

"I don't want to replace Paula Abdul," Latifah said. "I feel like she is irreplaceable."

On her recent weight loss, she has lost 20lbs (I wish I could say the same) over the past year with Jenny Craig, where she is also a spokesperson.

"It's not about losing weight or what you look like," Latifah said. "If it's losing it for the purposes of being more healthy, when you do lose a certain amount of weight, your body responds to it."

Chris Brown Sentenced Today

THE JUDGE SAID SHE IS AWARE OF THE "CHATTER" ON THE AIRWAVES (REFERRING TO THE TALK THAT BROWN HAS BEEN IN TOUCH WITH RIHANNA). SHE SAYS SHE MEANS BUSINESS AND WILL VIOLATE HIS PROBATION IF HE DARES VIOLATE THE TERMS. (Which could mean at least 3 years in prison)

The judge placed him on felony probation for 60 months (5 years). He must obey all laws and report to probation within 72 hours. Brown can perform community labor in Virginia. She wants reports from the domestic violence program in Richmond, VA. Chris must keep in touch with the Probation Department. He is subject to search and seizure 24/7 for the next 5 years, and he can't own any dangerous weapon, including guns or knives.

The judge will keep in place a protective order in which he has to stay 100 yards away from Rihanna unless they attend the same event, then its reduced to 10 yards. He must also provide DNA samples as requested by authorities.

He has to complete a 52 week domestic violence program sponsored by the Commonwealth Catholic Charities, perform 180 days of community labor, pay $2,500 in restitution, another $2,500 in probation expenses, a $30 criminal conviction fee and also pay $400 toward a domestic violence fund.

Ive been hearing that Pharrell's group N.E.R.D will be adding a female member to their group, named Rhea. I can hear the comparisons to the black eyed peas already. Since this has not yet been confirmed it remains a rumor.

At first she was reported to be his wife, But the unknown woman called 911 after the rapper threatened to kill her in front of a child (reportedly not his). He was arrested this morning at his New Jersey home and at this time remains in police custody and his bail is 300.00???? Why the hell is he still locked up if his bail is only 300 dollars?

According to his rep, "He has problems with the people in his complex, they hate on him because he is a rapper with big cars."

An Employee Of 50 Cent Has Been Accused Of Assault

Dwayne McKenzie, who works for 50 Cent/G-Unit, Has been accused of getting into a fight after a sex-related dispute in 50's Hartford, Connecticut Home. Allegedly, McKenzie requested oral sex from a woman during an Aug. 16 gathering and when she refused and a friend of the woman took offense, a fight broke out. 50 Cent was not there at the time. Dwayne McKenzie faces several charges stemming from the incident and is scheduled to appear Today in Hartford Superior Court, but his lawyer is expected to ask for the case to be continued until Sept. 1.

Eight years ago today, 8/25/01. The Beautiful and Talented Aaliyah Dana Haughton was killed in a plane crash after making her final music video for "Rock The Boat"

I remember when I was in highschool I fell asleep with my TV on MTV and when i woke up i saw the info about her death just scrolling across the bottom of the screen and I thought I was still dreaming. I couldnt believe it. She was and will always be one of my all time favorite singers.
