The creator of 'The Boondocks' announced via his Twitter (@aaronmcgruder) early Christmas Eve, that the third season will be making a come back after a long 3 year hiatus.
“Finally got an air date for Season 3. Not sure if I'm allowed to put it out yet, so I'll just say you got about three months! Merry Xmas!!”The popular yet controversial comic strip-turned-cartoon premiered in 2005 on Cartoon Network and centers on the antics of brothers Huey and Riley (both voiced by actress Regina King).
